For new naturists, those who would like to try the experience, what measurements do you think appropriate to be taken in order to make the first steps easier and what other kind of welcome do you expect from naturists next to be tolerant to you? What grade of tolerance do you expect for the teenagers that accompany you? We have the habit to ask them to be naked in the swimming pool, but for sporting activities a short is acceptable. For young girls a pareo might be helpful to overcome their first outing, for young men a long T-shirt could be of help. Both girls and boys can practise sport in a short.  Do you have other constructive ideas?

about virtue being a state of ceacarthr concerned with choice, lying in a mean between the two vices of excess and deficiency.Nudists do not have a Pavlovian association of nudity with sex, and do not equate all nudity with sex. In this, they have avoided the vice of excess that have fallen into. However, many nudists go too far in the other direction, hitting the vice of deficiency, as they seem to be of the opinion that it is never okay at any time to be sexual or talk about sex. I've noticed that this has been an issue of contention, as some nudists do not wish to leave their sexuality with their clothes when they choose to divest themselves of them. As Qoheleth is attributed as saying in the book of Ecclesiastes, To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven. Yes, this also includes sex and sexuality. Nudists should be able to recognize the appropriate time and the place, whereas many simply automatically think of sex whenever nudity is involved. Nudity in and of itself is not inherently sexual, but at the same time, there is nothing inherently wrong with sexuality either. Many nudists have not learned how to choose the mean in this matter.

advice!
Reply #3 on : Thu October 06, 2011, 15:37:57
Hello there,
I am seeking some advice!
My name is Isabelle, I am 20 years of age, I am currently in my second year studying photography at Bristol UWE. We have just been given the title of our project for the term, 'Cultural Descriptions,' where we have to produce a body of work exploring an aspect of social life which we are not a part of ourselves.
I have always been facinated by naturism, the ability to be totally free, but unfortunately have never have the courage to try it for myself. I therefore decided to base my project around naturism, exploring the female stance, as that is something I can relate to.
I was wondering whether anyone would be willing to talk to me about their experiences of naturism? I would love to experience it first hand at some point!
Any advice would be brilliant!
Thank you,
Isabelle

So far I have been a curious naturist bystander, and have wanted to experience this way of life for some time. Now that I have moved from Australia to Europe, I feel this may be my chance. I do however have a few anxieties, I'm a single male of mixed Indian/ english decent, and from looking at images I see mainly a caucasian crowd.

Where would you recommend for a beginner to test the waters close or in Paris? and is there a group i could join for my first visit?
